Alexander Auld was originally from Cold Lake, Alberta Canada, but was raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Auld started his Hockey career playing in the Ontario Hockey League. Drafted in 1999 in the NHL Draft by the Florida Panthers. Than was traded to the Vancouver Canucks where he played several seasons before the 2004-2005 NHL lockout. Auld Awards include: OHL Second All-Rookie Team (1999), OHL Third All-Star Team (2001), Cyclone Taylor Trophy (Most Valuable player of the Vancouver Canucks – 2006), Molson Cup (Most game star selections for Vancouver Canucks – 2006). Auld played internationally in the 2001 World Junior Championship (Bronze Metal) and the 2006 World Championships (4th place).
