Enhance Your Focus Through Hypnosis

In the game of hockey, when a goalie puts in a particularly incredible effort in stopping shots and getting their team through the game on a given night, it is sometimes referred to as going “unconscious”.  This is true to some degree, as the goalie will often not be able to give a play-by-play of what happened afterwards, and will say so in interviews- often, they are mildly unfocused after the game.
What would be closer to the truth is not to say that the athlete was unconscious, but rather the opposite: the goalie was so focused on the game, what was happening on the ice, that everything else was shut out.
What happens with athletes in this situation is much the same effect as that experienced by the individual when undergoing hypnosis.  Hypnosis, contrary to popular belief, is not all about acting like chickens or becoming mental slaves.  Instead, it is an effort at bringing an individual’s attention down to one single point of reference in order to open their minds to the power of suggestion subliminally.
In this way, sports training and hypnosis complement each other nicely.  Finding a  reputable hypnosis artist can help any athlete immeasurably when it comes to enhancing the focus required during a game.  Again, it is important to stress that this will not mean that an athlete should stare at a pendulum before every match- instead, athletes should work with their trainers to focus on a point in the game until they reach the level at which there is nothing else around them, as far as their mental state is concerned.
A super-consciousness, then, is the key to looking unconscious. Mental Goaltending Home Page
