NHL Goalie update Dec.20, 2006
Dominik Hasek made 27 saves for his 73rd NHL shutout as the Red Wings beat the Blue Jackets 5-0.
Fredrik Norrena was pulled in the 3rd period. Norrena gave up 5 goals on 22 shots before being replaced by Ty Conklin who had 3 saves and allowed no goals.
Chris Mason collected his 11th win of the season by stopping 28 shots and allowing only one goal as the Predators beat the Blackhawks 2-1.
Nikolai Khabibulin only had to deal with 19 shots on goal and hand 17 saves but allowed 2 goals in a tight 2-1 loss.
Jean-Sebastien Giguere completed his 23rd win over the Stars. Giguere allowed only 1 goal and had 26 saves.
Marty Turco had an off night allowing 4 goals through 2 periods before being replaced by Mike Smith who stopped all six shots in the 3rd period. Turco had 17 saves in the loss.
