Jocelyn Thibault had 29 saves and allowed 3 goals but got to a shootout were he allowed 2 goals in the loss.
Kari Lehtonen was hounded by 39 shots and stopped 36 shots. Lehtonen got his 15th win.
Tim Thomas made 39 saves and captured his 2nd shutout this season as the Bruins beat the Canucks 2-0.
Dany Sabourin had 17 saves and but allowed 2 goals in the first period. Sabourin though was outdone by Tim Thomas who had a shutout.
Kevin Weekes had the game wrapped up until the 3rd period were he allowed 3 goals. Weekes had 33 saves in the 3-2 loss.
Ed Belfour made his fourth start and had a strong game holding the Rangers to only 2 goals. Belfour had 30 saves in the win.
Marc Denis only had to deal with 18 shots and stopped 16 of them as the Lighting win 4-2 over the Senators.
Ray Emery allowed 3 goals and had 26 saves but it wasn’t enough as the Senators fell
4-2.
Antero Niittymaki had 33 saves but allowed 4 goals and 2 early goals in the 1st period. Niittymaki lost his 18th game as the Flyers lost 4-2.
David Aebischer allowed only 2 goals both coming on power plays in the second period. Aebischer had 26 saves in the win.
Chris Mason allowed 5 goals before being pulled for Michael Leighton who allowed 2 goals in the third period. Mason had 21 saves and Leighton had 8 in the 7-2 loss.
Martin Biron collected his 8th win of the season and only allowed 2 goals against a good Predators team. Biron had 29 saves in the win.
Dan Cloutier played despite a shoulder injury and it showed as he gave up 5 goals in the loss. Cloutier had 17 saves in the loss.
Manny Legace had a good game after coming back from the flu and held the Kings to only 2 goals. Legace had 23 saves in the win.
Jussi Markkanen made only his 5th start this season and had a good showing. Markkanen had 21 saves and allowed 2 goals in the Oilers 3-2 win.
Curtis Joseph complied his 14th loss against the Oilers. Joseph had 28 saves in the loss.
Marty Turco made 20 saves for his 4th shutout of the season. Turco lead Dallas to a 3-0 victory.
Vesa Toskala allowed 1 goal in each period as the Sharks fell to the Stars 3-0. Toskala had 23 saves in his 5th loss of the season.
