Martin Brodeur stopped 35 shots in a 4-1 win over the Capitals. This was Brodeur’s 18th win of the season.
Brent Johnson had a bad game allowing 4 goals in a 4-1 loss against the Devils. Johnson made 20 saves.
Cam Ward stopped 24 shots and allowed only 1 goal as the Hurricanes won 5-1. This is Ward’s 3rd consecutive win.
Rick DiPietro allowed 5 goals against the Hurricanes as the Islanders lost 5-1. Of the 5 goals that DiPietro allowed 4 were power play goals. DiPietro made 30 saves.
Pascal Leclaire made 10 saves and allowed no goals before being replace by Fredrik Norrena because on a hamstring injury. Norrena held on for the win capturing 21 saves and only allowing 2 goals in the Blue Jackets 3-2 victory.
Roberto Luongo was challenged much with only 22 shots on goal but still allowed 3 goals in the loss. Luongo had 19 saves.
Manny Fernandez stopped 22 shots but collected his 11th loss by allowing 3 goals to the Red Wings.
Dominik Hasek had his usual night of 34 saves and allowing only 1 goal as the Red Wings beat the Wild 3-1.
Jean-Sebastien Aubin made 22 saves but allowed 3 goals and the Maple Leafs fell to the Blackhawks 3-1.
Nikolai Khabibulin allowed a power play goal in the 1st period but shit down the Maple Leafs the rest of the way. Khabibulin had 25 saves in the win.
