Ryan Miller made 29 saves and almost had a shutout until 18:51 into the 3rd when Craig Adams scored.
John Grahame had 22 saves but allowed 4 goals, including 3 in the 2nd period. Grahame collected his 5th loss and the Hurricanes lost 4-1.
Chris Osgood allowed 4 goals but got 7 from his offense and collected his 3rd win. Osgood had 21 saves.
Fredrik Norrena had 29 saves and allowed 6 goals collecting his 7th loss. Norrena allowed 3 goals in the 3rd period that sealed the win for the Red Wings.
Johan Holmqvist allowed 4 goals as the Lightning lost to the Flyers 4-3. Holmqvist had 22 saves.
Robert Esche captured an amazing 42 saves and allowed only 3 goals. Esche led the Flyers to the win.
Mathieu Garon returned from an injured groin and got the win by allowing 4 goals and making 35 saves.
Dwayne Roloson accumulated 31 saves but allowed 6 goals and the Oilers go the 7-4 loss to the Kings.
Curtis Joseph made 27 saves and allowed only 2 goals’ both in the 2nd period and the Coyotes got the 3-2 win.
Vesa Toskala made 23 saves and the game looked to be headed into overtime but Toskala allowed a goal with only 41 seconds left in the 3rd as the Sharks lost.
