Jocelyn Thibault has only started 7 games and it showed as he allowed 5 goals to the Panthers Wednesday night. Thibault only allowed 2 goals through the 1st and 2nd period but fell apart in the 3rd where he allowed 3 goals. Thibault was hounded with shots recoding 34 in the loss.
Alex Auld has struggled this season but allowed only 2 goals as Florida got the win over the Panthers. Auld captured 23 saves in his 7th win this season.
Martin Brodeur leads the league with 25 wins but was unable to capture his 16th. Brodeur allowed only 3 goals but was out matched in a Devil’s loss. Brodeur had only 20 saves in the contest.
Manny Legace faced a tough match-up against Martin Brodeur but allowed only 2 goals to give St. Louis the win. Legace collected 24 saves and his 13th win.
Ryan Miller continued his great play and showed why he leads all eastern conference goalies in all-star voting as he captured 34 goals and was only 50 seconds away from a shutout. Miller got his 22nd win.
Nikolai Khabibulin played well enough to win but was out played by Ryan Miller. Khabibulin allowed only 2 goals but that was 1 to many as Khabibulin and the Blackhawks lost. This was Khabibulin's 12th loss of the season.
Dwayne Roloson scored a good win and played hard to hold onto the 3-2 win. Roloson saw a 2 goal lead move to 1 at the beginning of the 3rd period but was able to hold onto the win. Roloson had 32 saves in the win.
Evgeni Nabokov faced only 16 shots on goal but allowed 3. Nabokov allowed all his goals in the first 12 minutes of the contest and that proved to be to much to over come. Nabokov only had 13 saves in the loss.
