Peter Budaj

 Peter Budaj was born in Slovakia, and still spends his time there when he can, such as every summer.  Here in North America though, he has made quite a name for himself as a backup goalie for the Colorado Avalanche.
 Only 24 years old, Budaj is definitely a rising star in the NHL.  Since beginning his career in Slovakia and then venturing into North American hockey, he has been gaining momentum and moving towards an excellent career in ice hockey.
 He has now started a game for Colorado once, giving an impressive performance in an unfortunate loss for the Avalanche.
 He will most likely become a starting goalie in the near future and be an impressive member of his team.  He represented Slovakia in the 2006 Winter Olympics and gave an awesome performance, leading his team to victory after victory.
 Whether he remains with the Colorado Avalanche in the coming years or moves to another team has yet to be decided.
 He spends much of his time off the ice enjoying other sports such as golf and tennis.
