Rick Heinz

You would be forgiven if you don't remember Rick Heinz playing in the NHL. Probably the most remarkable feat of his career was signing more than one contract. Over five NHL seasons, he averaged less than 10 games per season and had a goals against average over four goals per game. He won 14 of the 49 games he played. In limited play-off action that GAA balloons to a whopping 7.50. One goalie you could compare him to would be Andre "Red Light" Racicot as they both played parts of five seasons, although Racicot did play more games, had a better GAA, and a better saves percentage.

Heinz has been able to use this experience to his advantage. He has gone on to do for hockey schools what McDonald's does for food. Where many hockey schools are run by individuals who love the game and have a desire to help young athletes, Heinz knows it is a business and in his own words is in it to make money.
